With more than 30 years of experience, Gabriella Szatmáry, MD, PhD, is a leading neuro-ophthalmology and neuroimaging specialist. At NeuroVisionary PLLC in Gulfport, Mississippi, she offers comprehensive, individualized, and expedited diagnosis and treatment of neuro-ophthalmological problems.

Dr. Szatmáry focuses on the vision and the mind, and how they interact. She also concentrates on how the vision and spine are connected and how their effect on perceptual vision. 

Many patients with double vision or sudden vision loss come to her for help. She often provides answers where other doctors do not, and frequently gives second, third, and fourth options. 

Dr. Szatmáry earned her medical degree at Semmelweis University-Medicine and Health Sciences in Hungary, and went on to the University at Buffalo Academic Health Center in Buffalo, New York, to complete her neurology residency. 

After her residency, Dr. Szatmáry completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, and has additional fellowship training in neuroimaging, giving her a unique and extensive skill set.  

Dr. Szatmáry also has a PhD in functional MRI. She is board-certified in neuroimaging and neurology. Drawing upon her extensive education and specialized skills, Dr. Szatmáry integrates multiple clinical tools to establish an accurate diagnosis and implement optimal treatment plans.

Dr. Szatmáry collaborates with other researchers, including the esteemed Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Florida. She is an affiliate faculty member at the prestigious University of Mississippi Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology.
